If you see an automobile with only one of its headlights lit, say "Perdiddle" and make a wish as you touch your nose. If there are several people present, the first to say "Perdiddle" gets to make a wish while tweaking another person's nose.

If you see a red automobile, quickly pinch yourself as you make a wish. You must be finished making your wish before the car is out of sight.
When traveling by automobile, if you go either over a bridge or through a tunnel, put one hand on the ceiling of the car, and have the driver blow the horn as you make your wish.
